Rates are agreed before a project starts and paid on delivery. Charging properly is what lets us pay African analysts competitively rather than treating this as volunteer work.
Every project has a reviewing consultant as well as a lead analyst. You are not making difficult methodological calls alone, and neither is anyone else.
Our consultants work from several African countries. Everything is remote, asynchronous where possible, and scheduled around your existing commitments.
Where a contribution meets ICMJE authorship criteria, authorship is agreed in writing at the start of the project rather than negotiated at submission.
