Before You Get In Touch
Do you sequence samples?
No. DataCore Analytics is analysis-only — we do not run a wet laboratory and never handle physical samples. You send data from any provider or platform, which also means our study design advice carries no incentive to sell you sequencing.
How quickly will you reply?
Within one working day. Scoping calls are free, and you receive a written analysis plan with a fixed quote within three working days of that call.
What does it cost?
Every project is quoted individually, because cost depends on data volume, complexity and turnaround. You get a fixed written quote before any work begins, and reduced rates are available for students and researchers at African public institutions.
How do I send you my data?
Through our encrypted submission portal, which checksums files in your browser and uploads them directly to project-scoped cloud storage. For very large datasets we provide command-line credentials instead.
Who owns the results?
You do. You retain all rights in your data and the results generated from it. Analysis code written for your project is delivered to you with a licence to use, modify and republish.
Will you be an author on my paper?
Only where a consultant's intellectual contribution meets ICMJE authorship criteria, and that is agreed in writing at the start rather than negotiated at submission. Straight fee-for-service analysis carries no authorship claim.
What if the analysis does not work?
We tell you during the work rather than after. If data cannot answer the question asked of it, you pay only for the work done to that point and we advise on what would be needed.
Do you work with students?
Yes. Postgraduate students at African public institutions get reduced rates, and our scholarship programme covers analysis support and training places at no cost.
